Stoneware, raised-relief decoration. This stein features the Roman god of the sea, Neptune, resting on a raging sea. To the left waves crash against the base of a lighthouse and to the right a ship braves the stormy seas. The entire stein is finished in an antique blue. Rope and knots border the top and bottom of the stein along with various nautical themed items. A mermaid figurehead forms the handle of the stein and a conical pewter lid completes the piece. Limited edition of 5,000 pieces worldwide. This is a large stein 3/4L and 12" tall.
